Abyss Farming for Blind Prophet?

Hi, first forum post here. Getting back into POE1 for the new event and planning on going Blind Prophet for my build. I think it'll be cool to specifically do an Abyss Jewel character.
Idk what the average market for abyss jewels is, but I assume I'll need to play a lot of Abyss to farm my own supply of abyss jewels. So on that note, does anyone have any good ideas for abyss farming?
I never played much Abyss in endgame and I'm sure there's guides available online, but wondering if anyone had some event related information. My market information is POE2 skewed rn, but I assume stacking flat dmgs on the abyss jewels is meta, especially with the increased base crit chance prophet gets.

In the exact same boat as you, never farmed abyss in my life and i saw some good opportunities. Thankfully i jave a guild eith my two buddies to actually provide the overhead for the idols. My plan was to focus on 100% chance to drop jewels from hoards, then idols for 100% corrupted 5-6 mod jewels, and then do the abyss scarab that spawns a hoard along the way. Just as an fyi the corrupted jewel idols are like 80-90c and that was yesterday.
