Waste of money
I really regret playing this game and wasting my precious time.
Waste of money too. The game is full of malicious design attempts to stall players. Last bumped on Feb 22, 2025, 8:43:22 AM

" I completely agree with you when it comes to the early game of POE2. I have no clue what GGG are thinking with how they designed the difficulty curve of POE2. It makes starting your character and leveling, and getting through tier 1-10 maps way too difficult. But once you get going in the end game, it actually becomes very easy. And this is just completely backwards design. The difficulty curve of a game should ramp up. It should start easy and get harder. It shouldn't start insanely hard and get easier as you progress through it, but that's exactly how POE2's difficulty curve is. And the result is going to be pushing away A LOT of players that feel exactly how you do, and just give up because the game is designed badly. |

" Yeah it feels super weird that the hardest part of the entire game is acts 1 and 2. After that it's just gambling for gear so you can delete mobs faster lol |

" I don't think OP is talking about difficulty. As you progress, actual difficulty goes down, up to a point where it simply vanishes, but the amount of intentional designs to stall you increase. And some people claim these design choices are there for the game to be difficult... except this game is a 1-button-map-layout-scanner. There's zero actual challenges for it to be called difficult. The only challenge I've faced before I quit PoE 1 was to find the desire to play and the time to put into the game. This game was good when it was "under development"/evolving. After 2017/2018 it went downhill. PS: PoE 2 was also good when it was under develoment and GGG had talked about what they wanted it to be. Once it got released, it devolved into PoE 1 very quickly. If you've ever played any remotely difficult game that actually requires any skill, you get bored in PoE very, very fast. Last edited by _rt_#4636 on Feb 22, 2025, 8:49:39 AM
