Does arctic armour mitigate damage from melee hits ?

I guess not but i am not sure.Any ideas ?

Says nothing about melee/physical reduction in description, however freezing is pretty good mitigation if it freezes for you. :)

Also added Arctic Armour to my build on Path of Building and added no effective hit points and physical damage reduction is at 0%
