Alva's gold commission is very high because hyperinflation

The commission is tied to the number of items, but not to their value. Exalted Orbs have long lost value but still require the most gold to exchange. To transform 10 divines to exalted 600 000 gold is required. Gold drop does not increase anymore due to inflation, as a result exchange becomes more and more expensive every day

You can get 100k gold per map if you pickup waystones, make them rare and vendor. Sometimes way more than that, had couple maps that got me 300k gold.

So 2-6 maps and few alch orbs to get those 600k.

t1-t5 3-4 mod rare waystone go for 3-4k
t6-t10 go for ~6k
t11-t14 go for 8-10k

While you *can* alleviate the inflation somewhat by selling maps at a level where you don't need anything below t15 it doesn't change the fact that exchange rate fees in the 9-digit zone are bad. Imagine being a new player who couldn't get a vacation when EA launched - starting now would feel off-putting, to say the least.

OP complained about high tax for selling divines. I didn't deny it, or said anything you could say is "git gud".

I said that you can get loads of gold by vendoring rare maps. I play poe semi casually, rarely juicing maps with tablets. So even just alch + vaal and go t15-t17 can get you 100-300k of gold from selling tons on waystones dropped. But you need to spend few alch and regals. Totally worth it if you need gold.

If you didn't reach the point of having consistent t15 sustain, then you probably not going to sell t14s.

dude this is not a solution to problems

you tell me how to earn gold, but your way does not earn more and more gold. Every day the exchange becomes more and more expensive, but the maps do not become more expensive. Will the gold drop increase due to inflation? No. Are more maps dropping due to inflation? No. But the exchange of Divs to Ex is becoming more expensive every day. Can you suggest a way to earn gold that is equal to inflation?

Ok, then do nothing, post on forums thinking that GGG will going to change stuff right at this moment. I explained how you can get tons of gold just by spending alchemy orbs, if thats too much then again, do nothing.
