Minion Pact support Gem and Last Gasp support Gem question

Minion Pact:
Supported Skills remove 100% of your maximum Life from a nearby Minion on use to deal 40% more damage

Last Gasp:
Minions from Supported Skills die 4 seconds after their Life is reduced to 0


Say I put "Minion Pact" into my main attack, and put "Last Gasp" into my minion skill, with only 1 minion. would I get that 40% damage bonus with each hit until my minion dies with that 4 second delay on death?

anyone tested this? i googled, but google sucks these days.


edit: after some testing, the added damage shows up in my skills tab, but no way of knowing if its working or not.
