I'm being serious, this is not a troll. i don't have any issue with portals.

Can you explain what your issue with them is other than "let me pay for 12hr long instances"

I won*t pay anything and am fine with 6-10 minutes or whatever. ^^
It's not like I am playing a map, then suddenly get a call that I have to immediately leave the house,, and am worried because my portal will close. ^^

Pretty sure it's not trolling, I'm wondering myself as well why you need 12h uptime for portals.

For a while I thought they lasted 15min but I often been gone for longer than this just to find the portals still up and working so I suppose they increased the timer from 15min.

You can always pause the game, this puts a pause on all timers AFAIK.
