Do stash items get TF'd to a Standard Realm or an Early Access League after the new league starts?

I understand our current characters will be transferred to an Early Access League, but are our items also going to be sent there? I dont mind grinding out a new character for the new season if it will be transferred to an "Eternal Realm" or "Standard League", but will be heart broken if we lose all our stash items to an Early Access League where no one will play.

Characters and items will transfer to the same place - they are not separated. So they should all end up in an "EA league".

This Early Access is Standard League. As with POE 1, once you join a league you will start fresh without any items or currency that is in your Standard league, but once the league ends those (items and currencies) will be migrated to the Standard League as it is a permanent/dedicated league. Upcoming leagues are more of a challenge for those looking for it, but if you don't want to start again or just play as is, there's always Standard.

Will there be wipes during Early Access?
No, there will not be a wipe. We will do new leagues but none of your characters will be wiped, they will just go to a league called Early Access (so they will never be in Standard). In some cases characters in old leagues might be somewhat broken by balance changes though. After launch the "Early Access" characters will still exist.

That says "characters", nothing about stash items.
