So which base white items are valuable?

So through random chance I happened to discover that high level, base normal white rarity sapphire rings and stellar amulets are valuable, I guess people are chance orbing them to try to get good uniques.

Are there any other base white items that are in high demand?

Chance Orbs
Stellar Amulet
Sapphire Ring
Heavy Belt
Gold Ring

Stellars and Sapphires are by far the more gamble-heavy items and thus more valued. Everything else goes down drastically in price afterwards. 1-2ex if ppl are looking for them.

Crafting (i82+ preferred in most cases)
Breach Ring
Attuned Wand
Siphoning Wand
Dualstring Bow
Solar Amulet

Crafting bases are hit/miss since a lot of ppl just prefer to find the blue variant with a desirable starting mod - +skills. +proj, etc etc. If a player has a lot of essences to burn, they may gamble with the white rolls. Breach rings are super popular right now for stat stackers and high % ingenuity. Wands are super good for sparkers. Rest of it just falls down after that based on individual wants/needs.
