Idea for Future Event
Precursor to release of new content: Players get drops by doing content. Drops are submitted to an NPC to further a global "build" event. Once players have moved the bar to 100% then new content is released.
Could have many types of drops that contribute different amounts. Rewards for most of each type, total points, whatever. However many reward categories you have it should have reward tiers. #1, top 3, top 10, top 100, etc. Maybe even time logged during the event. Probably should have some reward categories that aren't won by simply playing 12+ hours a day when casuals don't have near that time. Anyways, maybe this is a post-release idea.
