Warrior vs Mektul, the Forgemaster - Hardcore
What were developers thinking?
I have leveled at least 8 other characters past this point and now its time I suffer through Warrior. I should be better and a more efficient killer at this point seeing as how I've finished campaign on Hardcore on 8 characters - right? This boss is just ridiculous vs Warrior and basically warrants a skip. His damage is fair - he has some hits that if not dodged will bring me down to 30%, his lava walking is a fair bit annoying cause then I have to rely on range to keep damage on him - but it's mostly my damage is pitiful, I'm level 43. I have great gear 33-36+ 4+affix/prefix - a 120 damage 1 handed mace and a 230 damage 2 handed mace and I just gas on mana trying to put out DPS. I think he's possible with my loadout but I shouldn't have to fight on the struggle bus like I find myself to be. Invoker/Stormweaver/Deadeye/Infernalist/Chayula/Gemling this fight lasted like 8 seconds and even my first time the boss never walked past 50% of the arena - my character has the same quality of gear or better than my other characters. I've adjusted my gems to poison and cold which was marginally more effective but I draw the line at respeccing in NORMAL to kill a boss and I shouldn't have to break down a intricate gameplan just to kill such a simple boss. The way Warrior seems to make it harder to stun bosses after first stunning a boss for the first time is nonsense. I really don't like the concept of skipping bosses but this guy just isn't worth it. Is Warrior getting any early game buffs anytime soon? They desperately need it. Even twinking my guy out for leveling feels like a sub-par experience - sure he can screen clear in 2-4 hits if I setup the combos right, but on bosses - my god the single target damage and boss control is just sad beyond measure.
