POE 2 Classes/Weapons Pie - Attribute Requirements
![]() I thought I'd make a rough conceptual representation of the Skill Tree and all the classes. The other charts online didn't seem accurate to me. Although, I wouldn't say its completely accurate with how I know Mercenary skills currently have 1:1 STR:DEX ratio for skills (maybe that should change?). But I just deduced the weapons and classes through the early nodes with how the Right side of the Bottom STR/DEX tree has "Projectile Damage" = Mercenary. Then I'm guessing the Witch is on the left side of the top of the tree because of the Minions-- which puts it closer to the other minion-based class im assuming which is Druid-- meaning the Templar will be Crit & AOE-based & Druid will have some (Ancestral) Totems based on the nodes. Shadow is the Dagger Crit class. And then I'm guessing Huntress Spear will be a Ranged Projectile attack because of the 'Projectile Damage' nodes. Duelist Swords are the Tank & Ailment class. If this is accurate, then I just wonder if they would tweak the Attribute requirements of skills (ex. Mercenary more DEX than STR, Witch needing some STR)? Essentially lowering the requirement costs of Merc. Although I ultimately prefer if all skill requirements were less demanding overall to encourage buildcrafting but at least have these ratios applied for more identity i guess. It just seems to me if I want to try mixing together 2-3 classes beside each other-- considering how limited attribute increases can be especially without good gear, it would cost less to invest on the third attribute given this format. ![]() Last bumped on Mar 4, 2025, 11:31:19 AM
