Race Events - Did GGG Validated Those Accounts for Bots, Cheating, and Hacking

The race event might have been the worst event I've seen in a video game.
It wasn't an event for the community it was just an event for streamers. Worse the events is for bot scripters, cheaters, and hackers. And GGG doesn't care about cross checking those accounts if they are boosting stats to increase damages etc. via Cheat Engine? And they are not transparent that there are cheaters and hackers in the game. Also can't forget that more than half the community couldn't even take part in the event due to it being time zone locked. Everyone paid for this game, and I hope they release more community friendly events in the future where everyone will get the reward and not to a selected players. 1. If you have knowledge of coding scripts so that it can be fully ran automated, you'll know that its close to impossible to make a bot script for this game, early game campaign takes actual skill and human intervention.
2. Boosting stats? Its a live service game. 3. The game is free to play, you paid for early access, the devs did not force you to pay anything, you could have waited for the game to fully release and play free. (not to mention you receive $30 worth in coins) 4. I also agree that they should give out more community friendly events, but that does not mean events that are catered for extreme no lifer gamers should not happen at all. I wish I was still young and have no job to participate in the event and you also have to appreciate the preparation that it came with to prepare for this race event for those players who attended and or won. " It seems your so naive on bots, cheats and hacks. You only need to search it on youtube, google, etc. It's a live service game but it does not have an anti-cheat, so it's being exploited. |

Or anotherwords, any gameplay changes you make in the client has no effect on the gameplay, because the client has no authority. There's no need for gameplay anti-cheat when everything is overruled by the servers. You may want anti-cheat for detecting Quality of Life enhancements like altering camera zoom level I guess... and also bots, yes that can be an issue.
