Idea for PoE 2 version of delve & Scarab implementation

So I was thinking about how you could implement delve into PoE 2 in a cool way that could also build upon the vastiri desert lore. In ancient Egypt scarabs were used as a symbol of worship. You'll find them all over the place inside Egyptian iconography. Since we are now exploring the vastiri desert in PoE 2 I thought this would be a perfect way to create a sort of delve like mechanic where you go exploring deeper and deeper into the dark and mysterious vastiri tombs within the desert. While exploring these tombs you could allow scarabs to drop as an item since it would be a great way to obtain them while also connecting with the lore. Whether you make their purpose the same as PoE 1 (juicing maps) up to you, but I thought this would be a great piece of content and I'd honestly love to go endlessly delving inside the vastiri tombs to see what kind of unique and lost treasue I could find.

Just a thought I had that I wanted to share.

Delve would be a nice add, something else to do than run through the samey feeling and looking maps on repeat while chasing towers.

Scarabs though, i don't know, more systems need be added before those make sense, imo so maybe somewhere down the road when they've added all the missing features and content?
I'm pretty sure a similar system like scarab will be implemented tought. Since we already have 4 slot for waystone like in PoE1. Wouldn't be surprised if 10 years from now one we get that up to 6.

As for delve well we pretty much have atlas, aside from the difficulties not getting higher tought. Wich would be nice to have, infinite difficulties would help us push our build as far as we can. But the punishment need to be change if we want to have fun with that. (But oh wait, wouldn't that make it too Diablo like with greater rift from 3 and I don't remember what from 4) :thinking: ...
