Wasted Time, Boring Atlas.
Literally all you have to do to keep me playing this game is let me go back into a map after I've died and continue where I left off. With no way to analyze what happened I can't even learn from whatever mistake I made. But wait! There's more! Whatever map node I was on is now blank.
All of this adds up to a very powerful feeling of wasted time. Whenever I fail in this game I feel the lost time instead of the inspiration to to succeed. It costed so much time and there is little to show for it. I open the atlas again and try to think of somewhere to go but realize there's no point because once I get there I will probably fail anyways. Now for the atlas. It's boring. It's infinite. It feels less like exploring and more like wandering. The game doesn't provide and guidance in what to do or where to go. I was hoping the game would be simpler by now but it's just as complicated and messy as poe1. I think instead of making poe2 GGG should have developed a new IP that focuses on this endurance challenge fetish they seem to have. Last bumped on Mar 6, 2025, 10:02:23 AM

" Honestly this is kinda how I truly feel. I want POE 2, not jonathans wacky adventures with time wasting RNG. POE 2 should pretty much be POE 1. All the changes shouldn't have been made at all. if they wanted something new, they shouldn't have called it "Path of Exile" -- with that name comes expectations this company can no longer stand up to. It's wild shocking and scary that GGG can't even perform as well as they used to just a few years ago... |

They should really call this game a casino because with all the RNG, it feels like you are at the slot machines. And slot machines have better odds!
