Static atlas home button please

I understand the conceptual idea of the atlas home button moving around the screen to point towards the home site...but it rather defeats the purpose. It's bloody difficult to spot the damn thing, and practically speaking there is no functional reason for it to serve as a home compass; it exists to be used, not to be fancy.

Please put the atlas home button in a static location in the atlas UI so I don't have to sit squinting at my screen for 30 seconds every time I need to find it.
