Beastiary, Rogue Exile and Betrayal fit PoE 2 better than Ritual, Breach and Expediton
You know i am right, these 3 mechanics are engaging and are anti-zoomzoom, this is perfect for PoE 2 and its combat system
- LEVERAGE YOUR NEW ATLAS SYSTEM - MAKE IT FEEL GOOD TO ENGAGE WITH YOUR COMBAT SYSTEMS # Beastiary v2: - could be Monster Hunter - find clues and hunt beats in the atlas - get rewards used to craft (fire beast = fire orb to add/remove/upgrade fire mods) - leverage weapon types and make certain weapons more effective against certain type of beasts, same for physical and elemental damage - introduce Loadout mechanic, incentivise crafting multiple gear, add option to swap loadout when opening map to be prepared properly when hunting beasts ![]() # Betrayal v2: - biomes can get under siege by a faction - each faction has an outpots guarded by its boss - boss of a faction moves from map to map (timer) - chasing him is the goal - once he has moved to a new map, previous map is under one of his general's rule, it'll contain a themed mechanic - perhaps instead of timer, he just stay/move(1-3 tiles) on map completion, so we don't incentivize just zooming maps ![]() # Rogue Exile v2: - part of a settler like mechanic - atlas has Towns - each towns has its mayor - get bounties from the mayor - exiles are found in specific locations - kill exile and get your gold as reward from the mayor - or get unique rewards if you have good affinity with the mayor GOOD COMBAT MUST PREVAIL, ABOLISH ZOOM ZOOM Last edited by ryuukk33#4998 on Mar 6, 2025, 6:39:51 AM Last bumped on Mar 6, 2025, 6:37:14 AM
