Faustus' Black Market's ilvl range ?
I just assumed that he gave you items where ilvl = clvl.
Yet someone just posted in chat an item supposedly from Faustus 1 level higher than theirs. Anyone knows what the range is ? (And if there is one, then there's an interface bug, since the Alt-view shows clvl as ilvl, and not a range.) (One level more or less can matter, especially compared with shipping...) Yeah i'm not certain exactly, I think it is on a range like the expedition vendors. Same with the shipping rewards. They may not all be the same, but there is an internal formula I think.
I haven't see the exact numbers before. It would be useful to know, I agree. Someone may of worked it out, I have not seen it yet though. " When I alt on it, I get the item level, and the item level seems to be fairly close to the items I get, but with some sort of adjustment or range. To give you and idea, character 95 and above for me are showing these items to be lvl 83. My level 91 character is showing item to be level 82. So it would seem that somewhere between character level 91 and 95, they hit ilvl 83. Level 75 character is showing ilvl 75, level 80 character is showing iLvl 79. In terms of the range, I tried a few item and they seem to be going up on the iLvL. This may not always be the case though, I have not tested a lot of black market. May be a different range depending on the level. This all seems similar to the expedition iLvls, but also looks like there could be some differences. I've tried to look this up before for the expedition one, but didn't find a solid answer. Necro grave crafting also used a formula that was on a range based on input, but gave a specific item lvl on the output. I don't think GGG have provided the number in patch notes etc., would likely need to be deduced by the players. May be wrong though. Last edited by Belegur85#5784 on Mar 31, 2025, 3:56:24 AM
