Phrecia & Settlers: Sasan encounter

Never have I ever found Sasan encounter for running settlers in my maps. Maybe 240 maps between 2 char. Is this such a rare boss compared to Admiral who I've seen maybe 20 times now??!?!! Wasted all of my T15-16 maps, rares. And nothing to show for it outside of crap loot. Easily got the challenge for 200 maps and still nothing for Sasan.

It is pretty rare. I've only encountered it twice, and although I haven't focused on mapping, i've completed multiple level 100's and the achievement for 200 t14+ maps in the machines in that time. Compared with the pirate boss that spawns fairly regularly, have probably done it 30 times.

I think both my spawns came off t16 maps. It might be possible on lower, but that's what I had success with. Obviously you need the map runners to be able to sustain running those maps, which is a lot of investment. I don't remember the rewards being particularly better than the pirate boss, given it is much harder to get to.

I FINALLY came across saran after maybe 350 T16+ maps! But FAILED both objectives!?!? Can't see anything due to map being dark as heck! Forget my time wasting and maps I'll just go for black knight laser log out method. Literally worst thing I've wasted my life aiming for just for the last 36th obj. Too tired to keep this up

Apparently I have done them. I don't have a good feel for the fight though. Like you say, it was a bit hard to see what was going on. Think I just DPS trying to get it beaten without knowing any mechanics.

Probably right that black night is easier to spawn and complete the obectives.
