New Player - Did I just destroy all my progress?

Hi There-

I've only been playing for a week or so, got to Act 9. It was never explained anywhere what this Phrecia League was that I was in, but from what I read, it seemed like I was in a Solo Self Found league rather than in a Standard one - I was never playing with anyone else and there was nothing on the trade board.

So I migrated to the Settler's League, which seemed to be the Standard Trade league? But now my Kingsmarch, Delve, everything seems to be gone. Have I just permanently lost everything I was building there? Do I need to just start all over again from Act 1?

Can someone point me to some actually intelligible literature about how these things work, how to tell (on console) what league I'm in, and what I lose/gain by being in them? The wiki is so confusing ...

I am not sure about consoles, but this is what happens in PC - on the character selection screen, there is a League Migration button that looks like >>

Yes that is good advice I think, so you can get all the other things that are not on your character.

I'm not sure you will get the town progress, but you should get a lot of other stuff. I'm confused about the upcomming migration myself, I would be interested to know exactly what you do and don't get when completing this, if you are able to pass on the information.

Keep in mind, if fore some reason you wanted to continue playing in Phrecia during the next week, migrate all would prevent you from accessing that progress in the Phrecia event. Likely you want all that stuff in the same location as your current character though.)


Yeah, league migration is a bit complicated, there is information on it available, but I have not found a complete description of what does and doesn't transfer.

The wiki is usually a good place to start for information, I know there is a lot of information and it is difficult to be across things when you are starting the game. Then if you need something more specific there are other places to look for help, including here on the forrum.

With picking a league, it does explain it at the character selection, but I understand it is difficult for new players to understand, and you are not likely to read through the wiki before starting to play.

Leagues have a parent mode where they migrate into, unless they are the base mode. Phrecia is technically a short event and to a full league, but the progress is not voided, it moves into Settlers league. Settlers league does not have an end date currently, but if and when it ends it will parent into the standard game modes, which is normally what leagues do.

In terms of Settlers town progression, it appears it does not carry over through migration. Although it seems like you may have lost the progression by doing this, the Phrecia league is set to end in 1 week anyway, so you have jumped the gun, but in this case it was going to happen soon anyway. Be careful when doing any migration, make sure you know exactly what you are doing.

Phrecia is a league where the ascendancies have been changed. You do not have access to these ascendancies in other leagues, so you will need to change them if you wish to continue the character. You will likely now have a character without ascendancies, that need to be added, and possibly a skill tree rest, but i'm not certain exactly.

You can see the league your character is in at the selection screen, and also in game in the top right corner information if you tab.
