POE 2: Review (From a new player)

This is clearly the wrong forum.

But here we are. I have never played an ARPG in my life. And now I have roughly 1500 hours in POE2, and I can say I have never had a game scratch my ADHD/Addiction itch so thoroughly since Pete Hung's Destiny 2 in his garage next to the car collection.

The ability to hit a wall, whether it be a boss or modifier, and then, using what tools I have just in my vault and readily available currencies, I can change my whole approach and accomplish my task. And I love that about this game. It honestly is my favorite part. The gameplay is super fun, and it has recently been the only thing that can completely capture my attention so completely, other than my wife.

For the love of all that is holy, the EXP loss in endgame is so punishing that it makes me want to throw my PlayStation out the window and become a Priest.

Keep doing what you are doing. This is something special. And I, for one, plan on being around for a long time.


This is a list of minds I pilaged to figure out what the hell is going on in this game from a build perspective. I am getting old, and it's a lot.
