Arbiter of Ash

Hi, i just defeated Arbiter of Ash and since its early access my feedback may be useful. I have an artillery ballista tactician with shock-burst round, my ant lion with all damage shocks mod helps me out. I did my own build, so it's probably not the most efficient.

-even though i'm art ballista build, i didn't use it because i didn't see a single thing from the fight, luckily shock-burst round was doing insane damage by itself

-after i didn't use art ball. it was still hard to see the flame corridor

-i'm old and the mechanics a little bit too fast for me

-when i reached a point i understand a mechanic a new mechanic came in and i died, i cant even tell how many mechanics there are in the fight, feels to many

-i died nonstop so many times to one shot mechanics, then one run the boss did only one the entire fight so i killed him no problem, it didn't feel earned or good

-i still don't know any phase 2 mechanic, all i know if i stand in circle die, if i stand outside i die, from the few deaths i guess i need to time when i stand inside and outside but didn't get the chance to learn it

-no idea what the purple balls do

-the successful fight was really short, only 1 one shot mechanic(falling balls) rest of the time the boss was dancing around me so i just shock burst him down

-my advice to others for defeating the boss is, build an over geared glass cannon, which in my opinion shouldn't be a good advice.

Overall, i like the game i cant even imagine doing arbiter in the last patch, i gave up before reaching him, the game was way to boring for me to continue, in this patch, the game was still boring after defeating the first key boss for the arbiter mine was Jamanra, but i pushed myself to "finish" the game.

A huge concern of mine is that last patch was too hard and slow and boring, and in this patch the portal changes made it so much easier dampen the slowness and tediousness, but it kinda lessens the achievement for "beating" the game. Honestly i dont know what to prefer, maybe its better little bit easier since this is a game not my job.

I'm positive about the game, its kinda fine for me as it is. I made the criticism in the post only for the improvement on the game, if nothing changes its fine by me.

I have watched streamers fight with arbiter and i realized the first fight supposed to be a tutorial, where i can learn the mechanics, and I'm supposed to max out the atlas talent for the difficulty, so i can have my reward of "earned the kill" feeling. After realizing this, in retrospective the boss fight was misunderstood on my part, and i rather have this tutorial phase, than having limited portals with a hard boss.

So most of my points beside the visibility is because i didn't understand that the boss supposed to be defeated in harder difficulty. I don't know if that's really true or i just think it is true, for me the guide on how to play the game is quests. In poe 1 i considered completing the game by clearing the quest tasks, so maybe endgame quest can be a platform to help the player understand that for the real challenge arbiter should be defeated in harder difficulty. Maybe there is already a quest, i didn't complete the corruption cleansing, i found it boring so i didn't grind it out. I'm on +7 i believe, and did all of them beside the last before the patch where it gives more talent point.
