Cant find any unique strongboxes....

Hi after seeing the new unique gambling unique strongbox on some highlight videos on youtube I decided that I want to find one myself this season, so I went for in my knowledge all the atlast skill three boosters for strongboxes with also the 1 for 30% bigger chance to find unique ones, however I have now boosted a few towers to get strongboxes (where I find strongboxes often but never unique ones), In my first 15 maps I found 2 unique boxes (not the gamble one sadly) but after those when I actually got the passive points I have gone somewhere around 60-80 maps dry for uniques? (some boosted some not for strongboxes) im just wondering as my friends with no atlast skill points in the strongbox area are finding unique strongboxes almost daily and im still not finding any.... is there some kind of a issue with the skill tree perks or am I actually extremely unlucky?????
i am also playing hardcore as a newbie to the path of exile games and I like the game overall alot but this is really starting to bother me as im level 90 now and my last unique strongbox was around lvl 60-65ish :(

also around of these 60-80maps that I won't start counting from my map, at least 50 of them I have fully discovered so there should not be a chance that I have just missed any unique strongboxes, this has taken ALOT of extra time but I have stayed committed to my season goal and it really doesn't seem to be possible at the moment somehow :(

I tend to find them when i don't care and they never seem to be around when I would like to see them, and that's been the case both in league and standard as far as I can remember for myself.
