Lack of vision - Grim Feast
GGG removed Grim Feast from the game (supposedly to be reworked) because it deemed it "too powerful." Grim feast was based on slain enemies dropping "energy shield charges" that would add to the player's shield. The faster you kill, the more Energy Shield, up to the preset maximum you'd get.
However, the massive nerf of all useful skills resulted in substantial increase of the time to kill, thus making the Energy Shield obtainable by killing much less in terms of magnitude and ease to get, thus being a nerf itself.* Putting these two together, why was Grim Feast removed when the nerf of player damage was already a massive nerf to the usefulness of Grim Feast? The only thing that comes to mind is that whoever deleted Grim Feast did not consider the effect of damage nerf, thus it is lack of vision. *While, theoretically, some super-optimized lucky build may be still killing fast in endgame, this is by far not the bulk part of player experience. " Can't have normal players having an average experience with such a skill while sweaty streamers become immortal. You see clearly what playerbase gets balanced around with such changes. |

Yep i feel this (i miss it), but it was a broken mechanic.
When players were having 40k+ ES i think thats a bad thing or maybe im just stuck in the past and view everything before as roses. Why they didnt keep and adjust how the mechanic works is strange, they must of found something really bad to just remove a skill that has been worked in to the core game since the start. Yet again this is why we need proper forum mods with a connection to devs, i would also like to know..... P.S
I am a Dog and i will just drop my load and leave on to the next post |
