Witch Minions and Aggro

Help me understand the point of minions/spectres besides their DPS if they never intercept aggro? Every single mob just rushes me and never engages my minions.

Conversely my Huntress Companions seem to tank and grab aggo almost all the time?

The reason is ridiculous. GGG nerfed minion aggro to "buff minion survivability in boss fights". Make it make sense...

When raging spirits used to have collision, my answer was fireball with spell echo and inevitable critical to make a wall of raging spirits for anything that rushed me. They took out collision for RS so that doesn't work anymore.

And yes our 1 second revive time minions now don't pull as much aggro as the very little they used to pull so they will have more up time because that somehow made sense to someone.
