It's so frustrating with the price-fixing (that we should be able to report), both with the obvious really low offers (that will never get a response because it's fake), the ones in the middle (still lowballing, but you never know with people), and the offers that seem reasonable (that few people respond to as well).
Like a citadel fragment for 1 Div seems like a legit offer, certainly not crazy...and there are like 25 of those listed right now I see (ancient, faded, weathered, etc), but not a single response all day. It just sucks all the fun out when you want something, and it's there on offer, but you'll rarely get it, even if it's a decent offer. I know Alva exists, but buying stuff from her is usually the worst since pricing can be at 1.05 Divs and you get charged 2. I don't understand why the tabs can't be automated for sales, sort of like an auction house. This way if someone listed BS prices, they will lose it at those prices. No fixing. Yes, there are other ways to manipulate, but they take far more work. Hope I'm not alone with the frustration. Last bumped on May 24, 2025, 3:46:58 PM

" all that is solved with fully automatic trading like eve online. You list something it disappear from your inventory. When someone buys the payment appears in your inventory. So no one can make fake listing that are not to be full filled. Eve online market works so smoothly.. I cannot understand as anyone can be agaisnt it. POE2 with all the hassle has more bots than EVE. |

While an automated system would be awesome, your point on fragments being slightly higher than a div forcing you to spend 2 div doesn't make sense. Change your currency to exalts and buy it for essentially 1.05 divs.

I always sell for more and buy for less and 90% of my orders are being fullfilled during 24hours. Speaking of it, all of the prices are highly speculative. Sometimes that same prices for the fragments may drop twice in a blink of an eye, they return back in a few minutes, but imagine an amount of orders being fullfilled, it is thousands. It is totally broken, someone abusing it in all possible ways. And then you want an item trade was the same mess. The devs don't want. |

Yea I agree, the trading system is suboptimal for sure. I don't understand why there's not just a shop. You post something for sale, someone buys it, they get the item and you get the currency. There shouldn't be a need to manually exchange things.
