What can even be said at this point? Somehow things feel worse

So I hate the exp. Penalty. Been stuck at lvl 95 for a month now. Obviously not playing as much, but been at 75% to next level. But this game makes me want to not play. I play 1 day and it just burns me out. If not trying to get to 100 then what are you trying to do. I ve followed a legit build online and my equipment is pretty maxed for being a decent gamer. I will never have mirror gear, because how is that even possible. Where is all thise divines? I didnt mind the expierience penalty in POE 1 because there was actually something to do in the endgame. Breach, delierium, ultimatum, and sekema are all kind of the worse things brought over from poe 1, just why?

So how after patch h, does getting divines feel worse? I played about 20 tier 15's, maxed parnoia delierium, item quant and rarity, on waystones and towers, with 2 to 3 prefixes. I didnt see 1 divine drop. For the investment nothing really exciting dropped. I got a perfect jewelers, but they are not worth much anymore because they are less rare, but still not that available. I will go back to wo long an actual souls like that I am actually having more fun with. I wanna love this game, but it has a long way to go.

You are stuck because your build isn't very good or you run dumb maps and go I CAN DO THIS MAP!

I promise you this they will never change the exp penalty sorry.

Yes, that is literally how they designed the game intentionally. This is NOT an oversight or mistake. They want you to be fucked for playing wrong.


If you are (not an insult towards you) too slow to realize dying = your build sucks or you suck, then the last thing we can do is tell you word for word verbatim. The game is screaming it at you by keeping you at level 95... And you aren't listening to it.

So listen to us instead!

Build smarter, tighten defenses, git better. That is the solution..

Its cool, I deleted the game. This forum is called early access feedback. The expierience issue took center stage because that is headline news that multiple people have questioned.

The second part of the post, asked the question why does anyone want to even continue playing to get the 100. In its current state it is a slog. Assumptions about my build being bad ( basically a strong class, deadeye ligtening arrow), 85% evasion, maxed resistances. 2200 hp. Following a good stremers build. I would take a leap and say its not worth a mirror. Because who in hell has 1100 divines? Is the build the issue. Or what I would say is trash aoe effects that can only be avoided if you are a future teller. Dang, I didnt know that was an acquired skill in this day and age (represented by 'git gud'), which is the most laziest advice in the world.

Anyway, good luck to you guys. There is other games that are so much better when it comes to feeling advancement in builds. And yeah, they will get most of the business. But yo, die on this hill.
