Feature Request: Atlas Tree Reset Mechanism

Dear Grinding Gear Games Team,

With the introduction of the infinite Atlas Map Tree in Path of Exile 2, players are given an expansive and dynamic endgame experience. However, as adjustments and balancing changes are expected during Early Access, one growing challenge is the increasing difficulty in navigating the extended tree—especially for players who have progressed significantly.

Suggestion:
Introduce a feature that allows players manually to reset their Atlas progression and start again from the center of the tree. This reset could be made available every 14 or 30 days, either for free or in exchange for a specific in-game currency that drops naturally. This would improve flexibility and encourage experimentation with different map strategies.

Justification:

After extended playtime, the tree becomes large and cumbersome to navigate.

Many early nodes and maps become obsolete or are no longer replayable, which leads to a waste of progression.

If a player wants to access specific bosses (e.g., Arbiter of Ash, Xesh), they are often forced to path through numerous unused or irrelevant nodes.

This feature would also support players adapting to future content updates or meta changes more efficiently.

Important Note:
The proposed reset should also reset all Atlas Towers to maintain balance and fairness across player progression.

Thank you for considering this quality-of-life improvement for the Atlas system.

Best Regards
