PAUSE must allow us to use chat

I think the Pause feature is nice, however in POE2 when you pause you can't use chat. For me this is the main reason to use this feature and it would also greatly help with trade.
We all know how annoying trade can be that most people don't reply and yes, if someone wants to buy something from me while i'm doing an incursion i'm not gonna reply, but if i can Pause the game, i would.

Please don't make it like in POE2 and allow us to use the chat while game is paused.

Pause means to pause...... Not pause and chat.

In PoE 2 the entire game client pauses. Everything. By design.

Edit: I hope that it does the same in PoE.

not sure how it would help you trade with the guy though
unless there is some bargaining involved ofc.

Yeah would be nice to be able to pause so I can invite whoever whispers me. Because sometimes when I try to right click their name and missclick and walk somewhere else I just die lmao

with responding i meant something like "doing x right now and cant leave,are you ok waiting a moment?"

when you do stuff like heist,it can be dangerous to respond without a pause

the impatience of a lot of players is really bad

imo this would be good in poe2 as well.so many ppl complaining that they "cant" trade

If you're pausing by pressing esc then I can't imagine being able to chat. I can see the other forms of pausing being similar to Ultimatum's pause. Press P to open the tree - game paused - say "1 min pls"

Oh truuue you can just pause by opening passive tree,atlas or atlas skill tree since all those are full-screen. You should be able to interact with chat during that hopefully.
