freeze and/or crash when trying to get past character creation screen

Recently I have been totally unable to enter the game beyond the character selection screen.

Nearly same Issue here for like 2 days... i can select character but after hitting mobs like once or twice the game crashes without any message...
tryed nearly every setting for graphics and guides on Reddit etc.. nothing changes |

same, epic disappointment... I was playing POE2 with n o trouble at all, then decided to try out POE1 and NOTHING but problems!!!
I finally disabled NVidia system overlay and that kept my pc from BSOD but changing zones, launching character and especially creating new character crashes often of mostly refuses to load. I removed from SOLO league and that helped a little before crashing again. for every 5-10 times I launch I have to kill the game process to unfreeze the game... any suggestions would be appreciated, yes I loaded dirx12 and vulcan, no real help there |
