Kingsmarch notifications

Notifications for every map completed by map runners are not important because they don't require any reaction from the player.
Instead, I suggest showing notifications when runners have gone idle for any reason: out of maps, you ordered to suspend mapping, someone died, or they got sasaned. Those need response.
Alternatively, add a toggle between "all" and "important" Settlers notifications in the options menu.

The notification boxes are far too large.

I'd prefer that they are pushed to the chat box in white text, or displayed on screen like how online/offline notifications are shown.

Agreed. They should give more options what and how to show the popups.
Perhaps they're too busy deleting posts.

Just like Event Viewer on a PC, I should be able to turn off "informational" Kingsmarch messages and keep "Errors" and "Critical".

I don't care if my mappers completed a map, I care if they fail and someone died, or if they've been taken hostage. Because of the bevy of completion messages, I accidentally mentally tune out the shipment completions.

In the notifications section, I'd love to see two Kingsmarch options, one for Informational messages, and one for Actionable messages.

You can turn them off completely in settings.

Since OP referenced the options menu I'm going to assume OP is aware of that.

+1 in favor of prioritized notifications as well as "out of maps" probably the most important for me. I like to do all my "kingsmarch" stuff in a full sweep and be out so I can go map and do whatever.
