Game crashes when trying to play

I have some issues with the client.
I can log into my account just fine, but when trying to play any character, the game crashes in the loading screen and I have to reboot.
Not sure if related, but this started happening since installing PoE2. (maybe the OG felt betrayed)
Any idea of how I could fix this issue, as I would still like to play PoE1 too?
