3.26 - Ruthless - Elemancer Gone - Golems are dead - intentional ?

Changes are specific to ruthless.

The change to remove Elementalist's Elemancer ascendency passive means we lose :

"+1 to Maximum number of summoned Golems"
AND
"25% Increased Effect of Buffs granted by your Golems per Summoned Golem"

Is this nerf to golems intended in ruthless? If so fine but it seems to me like the rework has unintentionally made golems basically unplayable in terms of competitive build options for the ruthless game mode.

I posted to the same effect when patch notes came out. Don't forget the removal of PDR from chaos golems, either. That hits elementalist hard in terms of defence.

As a longtime golemancer main, it really looks for all the world like they are intentionally killing the build/mechanic as a competitive end game option and rendering golems a story + early map buff that is intended to be replaced in late game.

Mind, my post got a flurry of replies, mostly from people who haven't used golems much, suggesting that these changes are a huge buff, not a nerf. So who knows...

The patch notes feature Elementalists & Golems quite heavily. It doesn't really look like an accident, but rather a choice. A sad, build-diversity killing, nerf-hammer of a choice, but a choice nonetheless.
