Unable to install update on MacOS
Getting this on start:
“Path of Exile” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Bin. Clearing cache and library did not help. Last bumped on Jun 14, 2025, 8:20:43 PM

same issue here, but with different problem.
You could try this: right click on Path of Exile.app -> Show Package Contents -> Contents -> MacOS -> launch Path of Exile executable file When I do this, I get this error: Disconnected from patching server before patching completed. Try again. |

Same issue
Partial solution: the issue (for now) seems to be usual, the update got downloaded correctly but can't be extracted correctly (something connected to the path), you can unzip the udate.dat in the same dir and delete the older executable, rename (not sure if mandatory or not) to the original name and lanch. This will start the new patch, ... 8GB, I'm installing it :\ |

can you elaborate more on this? Where do you find udate.dat file and which directory are you referring to? Any help would be great.

the update.dat can be found in ~/Library/Application Support/Path Of Exile
I have just manually renamed it to .zip and extracted the executable - it seems to be downloading something now (51G). Update: After downloading fails to login (asks to be patched, see posts below). Last edited by Rios42#3889 on Jun 13, 2025, 5:01:24 PM

" Weird, I don't have update.dat file in that directory for some reason. Maybe I need to delete the whole folder and redownload from official site again... |

Update: After downloading the login attempt results in a error: "There has been a patch you need to update to. Please restart Path Of Exile"
