Feedback/Suggestion: XP Loss on Death is Too Punishing at High Levels
I’d like to share some feedback about the experience (XP) loss on death, especially at higher levels.
I’m currently level 92 and have been running around 30 maps - not even the hardest, just regular ones. During this grind, I earned about 40% of an experience bar. But after two unlucky deaths (after those 30 maps), I lost all that progress - 40% XP: gone! That’s incredibly frustrating and feels like hours of effort just vanished. I understand that there are items which reduce XP loss on death, but as far as I know, they only work once per map. This makes them feel almost pointless for longer play sessions or tougher content. My suggestions: Either: Remove XP loss on death altogether, but increase the XP needed per level for high-level characters to compensate. Or: Allow XP loss reduction items to be used multiple times per map, or make their effects permanent while equipped. I really think that the current system is too punishing and discourages playing at higher levels. It doesn’t feel rewarding to grind for hours, only to lose it all to a couple of mistakes or bad luck. Thanks for considering this feedback! Last bumped on Jun 14, 2025, 8:22:03 AM
