Just Lost all Atlas points and Map Progress

I'm in a standard league (just play by myself). I was halfway through tier 6 maps and just beat the boss in the tier 6 belfry. Saw some achievements scroll by and then the game crashed ("temporary connection disruption"). When I got back in, all my passive skill points and atlas points were gone. There was a tab to restore passive skill points, which was successful. The Atlas points remained gone. The atlas itself had 1 tier 5 map visible (in the upper right). Nothing else is visible. It says I have 1 atlas point available.

This is beyond frustrating as I've put a lot of time and effort working through these maps. Does anyone know what happened? How to fix it? How to prevent it from happening again?

Is it something to do with "The secrets of the atlas" launch? I'
m in a standard league and I thought I wouldn't be affected by new league resets.

I saw somewhere that completing a tier 16 corrupted map would restore everything but I have no clue if that's correct or how to get one.

i and my wife have the same problem
both our atlas progess and all the atlas passives tress reset and the points are gone,
only the unlocked unique maps are left

we tried playing a corrupted t16 map, but without any success only the map itself with the bonus unlocked but had no influence on the rest of the atlas

Same problem here. Yesterday, playing a corrupted T16 map to the end worked just fine - on the right hand border of the screen ran a list of all the completed maps, bonuses etc. and afterward the atlas looked complete, same as before the upgrade. Today, after the patch, everything was lost again and the same trick didn't work a second time.

EDIT: is there some news on this? Should we start the Atlas again?

I have 0! atlas points allocated now and have only got 8 points showing for allocation. Where did all my other points previously allocated go?

Same issue. Map consume but progress not save, all my divine just gone.
