MacOS Unable to Launch the Game (Steam)

Currently MacOS seems completely unable to launch the game through Steam. Clicking the green play button turns it to blue (stop), but no game ever launches. After 5-10 seconds every time, it just goes back to being the green play button. Verifying game files shows no error there, and a fresh uninstall reinstall did not fix it. Inside the files, launching by clicking the PathofExile application its self brings up a small POE update window, after which an error pop-up occurs which says that the application is not working/corrupted, and should be moved to the bin.

Not sure if this is something to do with it, but I also cannot find production_config_ini inside the PathofExile application files folder.

From browsing this also seems to be affecting all Mac M1/M2/M3 players, even if they are using some sort of Windows kit/3rd party tool to launch it.

Yep it sucks, what sucks more is knowing we are not even on the priority list considering there are serious problems on xbox/ps. PC is not without their own issues aswell.
