Melee accuracy

Is there a way to improve the accuracy of the melee attacks? When I swing a weapon in a horde of enemies (like being surround) I should be doing consistent damage to all enemies my character is facing. Not sure if you've included accuracy ratings to actually affect melee, but if that's the case it's absolutely pointless. Maybe in turn-based combat would that make sense but not in an ARPG. The melee has improved since the initial release, but could definitely use some fine tuning.
Also, completely unnecessary but would be awesome QoL: maybe have WASD bias cancel with mouse-click. This would greatly improve skill attacks with winding or moving animations.
