PLEASE FIX HIT DETECTION/ GET RID OF ARTIFICIAL ACCURACY MECH
TL;DR
The accuracy of hitting, striking, or shooting at an enemy should be player skill focused and not artificially implemented in the game. This is either a problem with the code structure involving hit detection, or server issue. Which is weird considering I haven't experienced crashes. Having this whole "accuracy" nonsense is artificial difficulty and really just a place holder for the poor hit detection. Get rid of it and focus on proper hit detection.. There's plenty of difficulty and challenges within the game regarding resistances, and gearing alone. Projectiles from ranged weapons should only miss when a player fails to shoot properly. THAT'S difficulty. Learning the mechanics.. Not punishing people for learning the mechanics and having to take up attribute space to fit "accuracy." I am a returning player and decided to use the warrior class and probably have 10 hours on it. I can't tell you how many times my weapon will literally swing into the face of an enemy and no damage or hit will be detected.. That makes no sense. That's either poor mechanic from design stand point, hit detection hasn't been properly implemented within the actual code structure of your game, or server issue. Either way, I'm going to shelf PoE2 again for another 6 months or until you guys start focusing on core mechanics. Not like you actually care to read the feedback anyways.. Welcome to RPGs.

" To be fair it's mostly just isometric ARPGs. The system is archaic and most JRPGs, RPGs, and TBRPGs have moved past it. |
