Mercs feel very overtuned
I'm making this post after repeatedly getting one tapped by mercs in t16s. Like ... hardly any gear on them... one frost bolt, one shield charge just 100 to 0 me. I can tank shaper stuff but not a merc shield charging lol. Doesn't make sense to me.

Mercs are doing WAY too much damage vs players. The most egregious offenders are: - Bastion: 1-shot Shield Charge - Sanguimancer(sp?): some insane damage over time skill with a skull icon - various dual-wand casters that teleport around with Proximity Shield and 1-shot you |

Their damage is too high like i'm suppressed capped 32k armour evasion, 26 fortified, adrenaline, capped all res with dot mitigation from fortify mastery and pantheon,no damage mods on map and still get 100-0 in less than half a second by physical dot guy, lightning spell guy, shield charge guy,... My strat to kill them now is run in circles and let my merc + gcbf kill them for me. |

My build is definitely on the defensive side (2k hp, 3k ES, MoM with 5k mana, 10k armor, 6 endurance charges, +1 all res, 73% block/spell block, arcane cloak, 1.4k regen/leech and Sigil of power full charge before starting the fight) and the bastion/combatant just insta charge and one shot me over and over(and this is still the case at t14 maps with 0 damage increase mods etc). I know it's not the tankiest build, but above most when it comes to it, and I'm fine with the occasional one shot ofc, but when one source does it over and over it's a clear case of over tuning in my opinion. I'm only on t6 maps, so a ways to go. But of my 13 deaths so far, at least 10 have been to mercenaries.
But I also really like when you hire one of these super strong mercs and they actually stick around and help you instead of dying right away. So, is it even possible to nerf them without nerfing their beneficial part? |

they have a chaos damage link and brutality and they one shot me with the skill like huh? |

How can a Mercenary oneshot a player that is overcapped in resistances, has 60%+ armor (against high damage hits) and well over 2 times recommended/necessary HP/ES/... I mean, it feels like the bugs in ArchNemesis league, where literally unkillable players were oneshot too. And noone ever liked that league (but it became core...) IF they were subject to PvP scaling it were impossible for them to do that much damage. So there can't be a reason there. IF they wore perfectly rolled stats, for their abilities, on their gear, and perfect support gems, paired with the exact counters for the players defenses, maybe they could. But that can only happen as often as a mirror drop, not several times per day. I am deeply intrigued to know the character setup they did the playtesting with. |

A friend of mine suspects it's an "inverted resistances bug. I swear, I died more with 90% resistance than with 75%"
GGG, please take a look at this. It might be the case ^ Me and my aurabot keep getting one-shot in every T16 map by Mercenaries.
