Maps temporal chains last way to long
Maps temporal chains should be halved to 10s instead of 20s. That's just way too long and most of the time it is waiting for it to end before you can go to the next objective. No good reason for it to be that long. The trigger time also need to be extended. By the time you see it it's too late to dodge before it triggers.

There are many ways to mitigate it, but temporal chains maps are usually a ranger/huntress/warrior/monk or focus caster thing.. Hey, then what's left!? If you are neither of those, avoid them or corrupt them to possibly change them. You can also vendor or disenchant them. If on trade league - trade them. Simple.
Ways to mitigate: - campaign reward slowing potency reduction (instead of chaos res, yeah right...) - slowing potency Freedom of Movement node and the ones around it (huntress/ranger), also node Unhindered easy to access as monk and the ones around... - Warding Fetish node (for focus casters) and the ones around it - Unstoppable Barrier, Near at Hand, Unimpeded (warrior nodes) - slowing potency reduction from evasion bases chests - slowing potency corrupt on the boots (instead of 2 sockets, yeah right) - onslaught (skill speed and movement speed on kill) - mana/life on kill (jewels, rings and gloves suffixes) - leech, regen suffixes on gear/jewels ... I mean... People keep running whatever the game throws at them without having the counter or it just being against their build too much and then... "GAME HARD!!" Sure... People won't put points into slowing potency, it's a waste even tho it would help against TC, it's not the solution. Maps are very easy to sustain now, just drop the maps with TC on it and make another one.

Hands up if you like playing maps with temporal chains?
*crickets* The game is supposed to be fun. I think sometimes that's lost sight of. This isn't my job: I don't need unnecessary busy-work. Rolling a map with tc is just a game tax. |

Wanderlust remains the best solution for nonPathfinders. The new curse implementation needs to be reverted. It bloats the severely unoptimized terrain clutter that's already ubiquitous.

The new mechanic for all these affixes (temp chain, elem weakness, enfeeble) is pure trash. It appears way too often, it triggers way too quickly, and it stays for way too long.
Jonathan said "we're introducing this new mechanic because we dont want these maps to be a "lost" maps which only purpose is to be sold". Well guess what ? You messed up badly because it still is. |
