Searching for overlapping towers sucks the fun out of endgame
It feels like so much of my time is spent running maps I don't care about, with low or no quant on them, throwing garbage waystones into them just to use them up, so that I can get from point A to point B, knowing all the while that my loot in these maps is next to nothing and it's just an obligation, a chore that I'm forced to endure before I can get my two to three towers online and then finally start playing the game.
It's especially tedious to have to cut a wide path from the outside of each tower radius to minimize the amount of center maps that I "waste" just by pathing to the second or third tower after the first. I'm sure you guys are already working on something for this but... it needs to be stated repeatedly how bad this system is. I don't think small tweaks, like forcing towers to not overlap anymore, or adding random modifiers to maps so that travel nodes feel better, would do nearly enough to solve this problem...
