Affliction Mechanics

Could these things favor essence trapped monsters when NOT orange and favor crap rares when orange? At least make it a node on the atlas or something. It is super annoying when orange whisp goes to an essence trapped monster, turns it into a boss and the essences are lost. But when it is not orange, it would rather go to some stupid rare, which is not trapped by essence, usually for no real benefit. Does it make sense? How many times did this happen to you? A lot here. Because I only play HC SSF, I actually do care. Thanks for understanding! If this does not change things, I will send you the song...
