Arbiter is far too punishing for how tight the mechanics are
I've peaked Top-15 on Blood Mage HCSSF ladder this season and did every other pinnacle up to T4 (even King in the Mists after losing several Audience with the King keys to the RNG maze phase). Corridor phase is basically unseeable especially if you have some sort of color-blindness. Ball phase spawning offscreen is really punishing considering how fast he zips around during the telegraph (this is what killed me).
Please fix the visual clarity of this fight. I'd prefer getting hit in these phases to not just also kill you instantly if you want to keep clearing them to be tight (make it more like Maven's debuff when you mess up on her, for instance). I'm fine with dying. I've rolled 20 characters between this and the first season, but for the last thing in the game that you need to do, it kills my interest in playing to be able to just randomly lose a character to RNG or invisible effects. For now I'm uninstalling until it gets changed and won't be coming back for new seasons until it does. studying for GGG's C++ technical exam... This boss belongs to some action game with infinite lives where timing for no damage runs are a thing, not in ARPG with hardcore mode. I find it to be a bad design and don't run it on HC unless I have an insane boss killer (not bugged op spear bs, actual boss killer). It is pointless. These 1-shot bad designs should disappear from this game ASAP. Investing in defense should matter. I only play HC SSF and also one of the top this and last league and feel the pain. You know how HC SSF is a different game, everyone else plays something I call Path of Vacation, especially the SC trade... ROFL
Good example of juicer/mapper classes, which need more bossing damage and better cc. Check the char name. More counters of heavy hits are needed for this game, especially for life builds. Life builds are a joke in defense. If one splits the combat system into 5... defense, offense, speed, utility, resource... Even making all the other 4 suffer and focusing mostly on defense does not make up for the insanity of enemy damage scaling possible in this game. This needs to change. Soon! GG GL HF SS HC SSF.
