Petal Ability Usage With Controller

I'm sure I'm not the only person that feels negatively about having 3 button inputs to even access the abilities. Having to keep those buttons pressed and choosing between 2-3 further buttons to use abilities that unless I am mistaken, we have no indicator or tooltip telling us what they even do.

I can't think of a direct fix or alteration to lower the amount of actions needed outside of simply mapping the abilities to the 4 main face buttons after holding l2+r2 without the added button press. It would still be clunky but it would be a minor improvement. I understand it's likely going to feel clunky for the whole league as there aren't many options of where to map them. It just feels incredibly bad, specifically when some of these abilities used at the right time can significantly improve loot returns.

Tl:Dr Please find a way to streamline the usage of the petal abilities/make it clear what the abilities are.

I think we should be able to map them wherever we want like any other skill. I also wish there was a way to have them be used automatically if we wanted to.

At this point I'd just like to know wtf they do before pressing them and having to guess!

+1 show tooltip when using the menu for it or sth (please not a stick press to show tooltip its too many buttons already)

how do you see what said petal skill does ?? am i missing something or having a derp moment ?

Where are these skills anyway? I already killed 2 bosses, grabbed some petals but cant even see how many i have, what to do with them etc.

Please pause the game during this... I almost die trying do the combination!
