Salvage Mechanic Expansion for Relevance
1) We need to adjust away from the salvage mechanic to modernize it a bit - adding some quality of life like most other modern games for some workflow assists such as the "mark for salvage" type concepts, or other accelerator functions.
2) The salvage benches need to be combined with Disenchanting; no reason we should nickel and dime players (back to the original POE2 problem "we hate want the game to be punishing"): salvage should give you both the underlying currency fragment + the socket fragment, it's needless to make them separate. Well intentioned; but unless you give some other reason just a real waste and senseless grind. 3) We need to be able to benefit from salvaging: Maps ==> Minimally give us something like old chisels for this; or figure out another reason to destroy them. 4) We need to be able to benefit from salvaging: Precursor fragments ==> Minimally give us currency for map quality (old chisels) or give us simply fragments for Expedition. 5) We need to be able to benefit from salvaging: Djinn and Ultimatum (ignoring that these two mechanics were the worst possible leagues in POE1, made core mechanics in POE2) ==> these should for example - give us Chaos fragments, or other fragment(s).
