Linking PoE with Steam

I was trying to link my PoE account (stand-alone) to my new Steam account and got this error message:

[Removed by Support]

Why wasn't this information requested in the first response? Why aren't Will and Rory at the same page? Also, after proving who I am, isn't it my business to link it to whatever Steam account I'd like? Why postponing this process with another day? And why can't this process be made automatic and not unnecessarily delayed?

My original post was "edited" by staff because it contained correspondence, which for some reason I cannot post, but with it was removed my whole explanation of what happened - I don't know why. I was trying to help making CS better by suggesting that all information, required for "unlocking" the account to complete the process be requested in the first email, instead of just part of it and waste additional days. They just made my post make no sense, I guess no one cares, so whatever.
