I Would LOVE a Loot System Where Irrelevant Items Don't Drop

Hey, GGG!

I would love it if your loot system eventually morphed into a system where irrelevant items didn't drop. For example, Lesser Life Flasks dropping in a level 18 area? I wish your system didn't even include "replaceable" items as part of the drop pool. I wish items were only included in the possible drop pool if the item was worthwhile to the character. (I'm not talking items that match an archetype. Just items that clearly have a better option available.)

Even if crafting recipes were a thing like in Path 1, it'd be preferable to prioritize the user's looting experience when coming up with reasons as to why things should or shouldn't drop.

I heard in the patch notes recently that there was a class/basetype that was following the rules I'm mentioning here (runes maybe?)...I'm just curious why all items don't follow that rule.

Welp! Tooooodles! <3

Decluttering would be fantastic. I would estimate the ratio of usable drops is about 1 in 300 for rare items.

With a crafting button for converting a rare item to normal rarity, we could go without normal and magic drops entirely.
Use a filter.

"useless" items drop in case someone is farming stuff to help level up a new character. I doubt this happens that often, but if you don't like seeing low level flasks, you can just filter them out.
I think it is fine. Knowing how to filter loot is a skill.
HC SSF. What else? Ruthless when?
