One of the QoL changes ruined crafting!

This QoL change: when you right-click a currency item and it's on your cursor, the UI auto-highlights items that this currency can be applied to.

It's nice in most situations. But it absolutely ruins crafting with Alteration or Chaos orbs!!

Before 3.26: When you needed to alt-spam or chaos-spam some mod, you could just type it in the highlight filter box and spam-click. When you hit that mod, the border around the item would light up.

After 3.26: You cannot do that anymore because the border is always lit. That is so annoying! Instead of improving QoL for crafters, this change makes crafting a miserable experience.

There is also a hilariously bad case of that new change completely screwing up your Atlas screen when you find a Nameless Seer and try to Scry a map: the entire Atlas is lit, every single map is highlighted. Good luck searching for the map you wanted to scry!

A simple fix: do not highlight items that are filtered out by the search box!

Not disagreeing with the points of this thread, but I just wanted to point out that you can exit the Nameless Seer scry atlas dialogue without clicking anything and then open your own atlas and search for the locations. Then you can open the scry dialogue again and make your choice - now knowing where to look for the map on the screen. :D

they should really add a real "crafting" bench

it would work like

-you put in item and choose 1-2 mods from all mods possible on the item
-than you put in the right currency you want to use for it (Alc+Scour or Chaos for rare items, Alts+Augs for magic items)
-you press "craft"
-the bench auto crafts the item until it hits 1 or both of the chosen mods or runs out of currency

this would make chaos,alcs,scour,alts and aug Orbs more valueable and even remove some "spare" items that are good but not the mod ppl want from the market

the reason for this is simple,

with common bases ppl move to the next item and sell the "unwanted" one to make aleast some currency

and

most ppl dont alt+aug nearly 2000 times to just get the +1 to all skill gems or something similar on an amulet

For someone who crafts a bunch of items every league, the pain in 3.26 caused by this "QoL" change is crazy! Yes, you can see the item itself getting dimmed when it's not matching the filter. But for most items that's nearly not as noticeable as the border.

PLEASE fix this nonsense. Stop highlighting items that are filtered out. Or add extra highlighting when the item matches the filter.

Yeah in the meantime there is a good workaround if you have a controller, the UI is a little bit different and it’s easier to see the highlight when you hit, also easier to click.

So just relog with controller and do it with that, if you can.

Just FYI, I hope they change it a little bit in the future like different color etc
