Feature request: map mod shortcut on controller

I play primarily on controller these days, but one recurring issue is that after I walk into a zone, I have no easy way to check what the mods are. It's possible to toggle map mod visibility on/off when using mouse+keyboard by using a UI button, but changing it on controller requires going all the way into the game settings. Could we get a controller shortcut?
