pls change merc (death's) !

i love the league, doing stuff with mercs enables so many new builds and stuff you can do BUT:
i think dying to them is too much of a punishment, you lose the merc (if u wanted to hire him), you lose the items that u wanted AND on top you die.
why ? why isnt it like tora ? you fail the match and u get no loot, no rewards and thats it.
on hc almost anyone is skipping 90% maybe some even 100% of the mercs because the odds of randomly dying even if u have a tanky build is just way too high.
im pretty sure even on sc most ppl skipp most of the mercs because they dont want to lose exp. i dont think its a good league mechanic when most ppl just dont bother with it because they dont want to die.
a league mechanic should be fun to interact with and not somehting you skip most of the time or skip it completly once u got your merc.

so pls change the dying part, maybe even use the tora "code" for it ?
they could teleport with you in the tora arena and duel u there or somehting.
im pretty sure alot of ppl would enjoy the league way more if they actually WANT to fight them. specially on hc. thanks

Level 85 char vs level 72 merc, tier 5 map, no damage mods, seems like an easy merc to kill, but one big mistake, he has a slam skill.

I put my granite flask + 5 endurance charges. i'm 83-84% resist capped, i got 16 Phys to elemental, i have VAAL molten shell on cast on damage taken (level 16 or 17) should pop at 2k dmg taken, 5k life.

Fuck this game and [Removed by Support] that don't respect your time at all.

Edit : Checked my POB, needed 60k effective hit to kill me, or 20k phys damage. Kind of insane to get one shot by a skill you can't even dodge or see doing 20k dmg at lvl 72.
